Whether sport, history or culture is your thing, there are plenty of attractions close to the Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay and it's surrounding areas for all the family.
If you prefer good old-fashioned sight-seeing, you won't be disappointed. From the magnificent Edwardian civic buildings and historic Cardiff Castle, to the imposing Millennium Stadium, architecture fans are spoilt for choice. The National Museum Cardiff is home to one of the finest impressionist galleries outside Paris, and features works by Monet, Picasso and Rodin.
Close to the Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay is the Wales Millennium Centre which stands next to the Grade 1 listed Pierhead building. The Norwegian Church, where children's author Roald Dahl was christened, is now an arts centre and cafe with a Nordic flavour. Next door you'll find the Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre - known locally as 'the Tube', which features interactive displays and exhibitions about Cardiff's past, present and future.
Not far from the Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay is St Fagans National History Museum is one the world's best open-air museums. Home to over forty original buildings transported from different parts of Wales, stone-by-stone, the museum features a Victorian school and a medieval church.
